Miami Heat and Why they wont win with the players they have now

Everyone around the world knows who the Miami Heat are; LeBron James, Dwayne Wade, and Chris Bosh. Any true NBA fan knows the other players as well, but the players don't do enough in Miami to win. Haslem is always hurt, Miller hasn't shown up, and Chalmers is inconsistent. They can't win with what they got, do they need to blow it up? No. But they need to figure out what to do to make it a championship team.

Money is a big issue, obviously the big 3 took less money but the players I mentioned above are taking up some salary space. Udonis Haslem is making nearly 4 million a year and Mike Miller is making 5.4 million a year. They have little to spend in FA, leaving them with little options on who to sign unless they make a trade. They need a player or two that can step into a role and fill that role to perfection. Like who is the PG that will run the offense when LeBron is on the bench? Chalmers isn't a true passing PG, he's a good spot up shooter but that's about it. Bibby is old and can't play a significant amount of minutes to contribute. But if they are going to spend the money they have on re signing Chalmers, then they have to make a move to trade Haslem or Miller.

They could try to get veterans to come and play for the chance to win a championship, but for little money. Possible the best PG option would be Earl Watson or Rodney Stuckey. Both are good ball handlers and good passers and can help run the offense but they need to get them for the right price. A veteran they could bring in would be Tracy McGrady or Grant Hill, if they could convince one of the two to take less money to win then it would be a perfect fit. Both can help out offensively, Hill can probably do more defensively but still both could be good contributors. They also lack a dominate big man besides Bosh, Joel Anthony wont cut it, the best fit would be Greg Oden if Oden would take the less money to join them. Also Kenyon Martin seems like a good piece to.

The Heat have the big 3, and I believe will win a championship at some point but as of right now they can't win with what they got.
